HK416C - The new ultra compact assault rifle
Further adding to the successful HK416 weapon series, Heckler & Koch has recently designed and developed an ultra-short 5.56 mm assault rifle called the HK416C.Retaining a high degree of component commonality with the existing HK416 variants, the HK416C is fitted with a 9” barrel, innovative buffer system and retractable buttstock which enables a level of compactness never before seen on an M4-type weapon. Its compact dimensions make this new ultra-short rifle particularly well suited to both Close Quarter Combat and Personal Defence requirements without compromising the performance benefits of a 5.56 mm calibre weapon.
